The Ministry of the Economy is the body responsible for regulating authorized third parties, called Certification Service Providers, or PSC, for the rendering of the following services:
Certification Service Providers are credited by the Ministry of the Economy and have the power to issue certificates or render related services, such as keeping data messages, digital time stamps, or digitalization of printed documents, as well as, act as a legally authorized third party in accordance with that established on NOM-151-SCFI-2016.
Keeping data messages:
Keeping the integrated information from a data message; from the moment it is definitively first created.
Digital time stamp:
A record proving that data existed before a seal’s date and time of issue.
The migration of printed documents to data messages, as done by a PSC as a Legally Authorized Third party, or TLA.
