AMEXIPAC arises as an initiative of the private sector in order to enable an official communication channel with the regulatory authorities on electronic tax matters in Mexico and to contribute as a strategic ally in the expansion and success of the use of electronic taxation through electronic means.
AMEXIPAC carries out activities related to the research and development of science and technology in Mexico, thus since July 2014 it forms part of the National Registry of Science and Technology Institutions and Companies (Registro Nacional de Instituciones y Empresas Científicas y Tecnológicas or RENIECYT), which is under the responsibility of the National Council of Science and Technology (Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnología or CONACYT), which identifies institutions, centers, entities, companies, and natural or legal persons of the public, social, and private sectors that carry out activities related to the research and development of science and technology in Mexico.
AMEXIPAC, A.C. is a business association that brings together the Authorized Certification Service Providers, a.k.a. PAC, for the provision of certified digital communication, of tax and commercial matters in Mexico, carried out between:

• Government to Business & Business to Government (G2B, B2G)
• Business to Business (B2B)
AMEXIPAC Members concentrate the offer of value-added technology services aimed at business efficiency.
